Route Description for Llangorse Lake Circular Walk
For those adventurers keen on exploring a longer walking route in Brecon Beacons National Park, the Llangorse Lake Circular Walk is an excellent option to experience the natural beauty of Wales. This trail features a charming lake, several small hills, and serene forests that dot the picturesque Welsh countryside.
Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the southwest around the shores of Llangorse Lake, taking some time to appreciate the stunning views across the water, before climbing uphill to the south. Here, you will pass through some light tree cover, as you work your way over a small hill that provides views of the surrounding forests and farmland.
After traversing the hill, you will head southeast across the countryside to the village of Bwlch, where you will find The New Inn, which is an excellent place for some mid-walk refreshments. From the village, you will climb uphill to the north, traversing the slopes of Mynydd Llangorse as you take in the views overlooking the surrounding landscape. After making your way along the slopes of the hill, you will walk towards the west to pass through the village of Llangorse on the return leg into the trailhead.

The trailhead for the Llangorse Lake Circular Walk can be found at the car park for the Llangorse Common Walking and Picnic Area, just southwest of Llangorse.Route Information
