The Little Gaddesden Circular takes you away from the hustle and bustle of city noises to the lovely countryside, where woodlands and open fields induce a state of relaxation. You may encounter some crowds around Ashridge House and the golf course, but most of the walk keeps you immersed in quiet, relaxing scenery. Plus, the historic Ashridge House makes for a fantastic photo opportunity!

Route Description for Little Gaddesden Circular Walk
The Little Gaddesden Circular is a fun, family-friendly walk that winds through stunning Chiltern scenery while also leading you by the historic Ashridge House. Expect to revel in woodland and farmland scenery, where wildflowers add a lovely contrast to the canvas of green hues along this walk. Setting out from your car, with your back facing the parking lot, you’ll head down Church Road to your right before going right onto the footpath. This marks the start of your loop! Enjoy meandering through the varied scenery. Near the end of the circuit, you’ll reach the golf course, which can be pretty busy. Do note that sections of this loop can get muddy during wetter months, so come prepared with proper footwear!

To get to the start of the Little Gaddesden Circular, head to Little Gaddesden and follow Church Road towards the Little Gaddesden Bowls Club. Park your car here!
