The Watlington Hill and Cookley Green Circular traverses through mostly farmland and woodland, making this a fun walk for anyone looking for a long journey immersed in nature! This 23.2 km loop starts in a clockwise direction, heading towards Cookley Green, passing through fields en route. After Cookley Green, you’ll spend more time meandering through woodland before spending a significant amount of time walking through fields after you pass through Hazel Wood. You’ll continue making your way around until you get back to your car.
Getting to the Watlington Hill and Cookley Green Circular Trailhead
To get to the start of the Watlington Hill and Cookley Green Circular, head to Watlington and follow Hill Road and follow it for 2.3 km before turning right. 17 m later, turn right, and you’ll reach your destination.
