Founder & CEORichard CampbellFounder & CEO
Richard founded 10Adventures with the goal of making planning and booking adventure travel easier, recognizing that outdoor adventurers needed more effective resources for their trips.
Richard fell in love with the outdoors while hiking all over the world, exploring the Alps, Rockies, Himalayas, Andes, and the Pyrenees. This passion was the seed of his wish: to make it easier for people to experience the most beautiful places on earth.
Prior to 10Adventures, Richard was the Chief Operating Officer of a successful consulting company. During his time there, the company grew from 18 to over 425 staff and was named one of the 50 best places to work in Canada for five straight years. Richard was also part of the team that built and launched one of the UK’s most successful marketplace startups, uSwitch.com. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School and London Business School, where he was a Sloan Fellow.
Don’t be surprised if you come across Richard hiking, skiing or cycling in the Rocky Mountains, as he and his wife love to share their passion for the outdoors with their three boys.

DesignerHaolinDesigner
Haolin lives in Burnaby BC, and he works as a UI/UX Designer for 10Adventures. After coming to Canada from China and earning his MDes degree from Emily Carr University, he decided to pursue his career in this beautiful country. Haolin perceives quality design as compelling storytelling—designers are essentially storytellers who synchronize both the teller and the listener's brains. Any emotions we experience or envision can be passed on to other people. He loves diving, surfing and other outdoor activities. He is also a foodie and can't help but indulge in Vancouver's diverse culinary culture. EditorKristin LathropEditor
Kristin contributes to 10Adventures as a Content Writer. Kristin has been editing professionally since 2015 and writing for as long as she can remember. She has a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic studies from the University of Victoria and earned SFU's editing certificate. Having travelled to 42 countries so far, she's created a life rich with experiences and thrives on pushing the limits of her comfort zone.
Her favourite adventure was a 2-night backpacking trip deep into Kananaskis Country, where she camped in a private spot next to an alpine lake. The highlights? Morning lakeside campfire and coffee, exploring terrain without trails, and waking up to a foot of snow at the beginning of September. Mountain weather, right?
Kristin tends to move around a lot, settling in small towns close to adventure. Outside of her day job, you'll find her hiking and backpacking in the Rockies, experimenting (and dancing) in the kitchen, socializing with a craft beer in hand, and travelling to sunny places whenever she can.

Tara is a content writer at 10adventures. Originally from Calgary, she now lives just outside of Toronto with her husband and Alaskan Malamute.
After 15 years in the travel industry, she’s fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to cross off a few bucket-list trips already.
