You’ll enjoy visits to the beautiful beaches on both sides of the country so you can watch both the sunrise and sunset over the water. When you arrive in San Jose, you’ll meet your driver for the transfer to your hotel. Tonight you can explore the city and try one of the many excellent restaurants for dinner.
Enjoy the drive towards the Pacuare river, where a fun rafting activity is waiting for you. You’ll be rafting the class III-IV rapids.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park. Your destination is Puerto Viejo where you’ll find your hotel on the beach.
Today you’ll go on an amazing snorkelling excursion in Cahuita National Park, where you’ll discover the incredible sea life at the largest coral reef in Costa Rica.
After your snorkel trip, you can spend some time on the beach to soak in some sun. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a guided hike in the beautiful forest along the coast.
Say goodbye to the beach and start your journey inland. As you approach Arenal, you’ll see the beautiful volcano rising on the horizon.
This evening you can enjoy the view and your peaceful rainforest surroundings from your hotel.
This afternoon you’ll go on a hike through the incredible rainforest and explore the ancient solidified lava flows. After your hike, you’ll visit Tabacon Hot Springs for a soak in the natural thermal pools that are heated by the volcano.
Enjoy your final views of the volcano during breakfast, and then you’ll start the trip to Guanacaste. All other categories will drive through the incredible Costa Rican landscapes that range from savannas to tropical forests.
When you arrive at the northern Pacific coast, you’ll check in to your hotel and enjoy watching the sunset from the beach.
You have the next two days to enjoy the sun and beaches of the Pacific coast. Fill your day with swimming and snorkelling, or just relax and watch the waves roll in from the ocean.
Today you’ll be transferred back to San Jose, where you will be able to explore the city at your own leisure.
After breakfast, you’ll take a transfer or drive yourself to the airport. Until next time!
