The West Route Canal Trail is a great little adventure for hikers experienced in light scrambling and route finding. This trail leads down a slot canyon where hikers will have to navigate frequent obstacles. Sturdy shoes with good grip are a must for this trail, as is lots of water and snacks. This trail is rarely visited, so it is a great place to spend the day on your own exploring the beauty of Zion National Park.
