    10Adventures Podcast

Adventure travel is our prowess, and it is our ambition to inspire others in their pursuit of meaningful experiences. On the 10Adventures Podcast we hope to enlighten our listeners about the accessibility of adventure travel! Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to be an intrepid mountaineer or avid biker to experience meaningful and excitable achievements. The essence of adventure travel can be boiled down to one thing: ordinary people living extraordinary experiences. Get inspired and take action—a life changing experience is within reach!

Immerse yourself in the lifestyle of adventure travel as our hosts discuss and interview like-minded outdoor enthusiasts and eager travellers. Learn about hiking, thru-hiking, backpacking, bike-touring, trekking, mountaineering, skiing and more from our passionate and knowledgeable interviewees. Join us as we share tips, tricks, and stories to help you plan your next epic travel adventure. Hike to Machu Picchu, ski the Canadian Rockies, cycle the Camino de Santiago, or trek the Himalayas, and fulfill that sense of achievement. Tune in weekly as 10Adventures founder Richard, and co-hosts Dave and Karin explore a different corner of the world on each episode.

    Karin

After decades working as a physician, Karin decided it was time for a big change so that she could explore the world. She has since travelled all over the world; trekking in the Himalayas, backpacking the John Muir Trail, hiking in the Andes, wandering through Pakistan and india, bike-touring across Europe, and ski-touring in the Canadian Rockies. Karin has spent the pandemic exploring Vancouver Island, which she calls home, and is hoping to continue the adventures abroad soon!
