Adventure travel is our prowess, and it is our ambition to inspire others in their pursuit of meaningful experiences. On the 10Adventures Podcast we hope to enlighten our listeners about the accessibility of adventure travel! Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to be an intrepid mountaineer or avid biker to experience meaningful and excitable achievements. The essence of adventure travel can be boiled down to one thing: ordinary people living extraordinary experiences. Get inspired and take action—a life changing experience is within reach!

Richard is the founder of 10Adventures and a lifetime adventure traveller, having trekked, cycled and ski toured in the Himalayas, Andes, Atlas, Alps, Dolomites, Pyrenees, and in North America from the Rocky Mountains to the Coast Ranges. These days he is exploring the Canadian Rockies with his family, building their love of the outdoors and telling stories along the way. You can listen to Richard’s children stories on the StoryWalks Podcast.
David is a journalist at The Globe and Mail, where he has reported on a wide range of subjects, from business to sports. He also written extensively about life and work in the mountains. He has skied and snowboarded throughout Western Canada, in the Alps, and in Hokkaido. He was an early splitboarder and recently turned to backcountry skiing.
After decades working as a physician, Karin decided it was time for a big change so that she could explore the world. She has since travelled all over the world; trekking in the Himalayas, backpacking the John Muir Trail, hiking in the Andes, wandering through Pakistan and india, bike-touring across Europe, and ski-touring in the Canadian Rockies. Karin has spent the pandemic exploring Vancouver Island, which she calls home, and is hoping to continue the adventures abroad soon!
