Route Description for Broom Hill Circular Walk
Whether the aim of your walk is to get out into the countryside for some fresh air or to climb to the top of a few hills for scenic views across the surrounding landscape, the Broom Hill Circular Walk in Cairngorms National Park will be sure not to disappoint.
Setting out from the trailhead in the centre of Tarland, you will follow Melgum Road to the northwest and leave the village behind for the wide open countryside. Reaching the top of a small ridge, you will make your way east to the summit of Broom Hill, where you will enjoy sweeping views across the park. Continuing further along the ridge will take you over Pressendye, before heading downhill through a small wood. Here, you will once again traverse the open countryside on the way back into Tarland.
