Route Description for Gorran Haven to Dodman Point Loop
Featuring a charming village and breathtaking views overlooking the sea, the Gorran Haven to Dodman Point Loop Trail is a fantastic outdoor excursion for those looking to experience the dramatic landscape and stunning scenery along the Cornish Coastline.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way west through the quaint village of Gorran Haven, climbing slightly uphill before turning your direction to the south. Here, you will utilize footpaths and quiet country roads in order to traverse the picturesque farmland on the way to Dodman Point.
After arriving at the headland and taking in the spectacular views along the coast and of the English Channel before you, you will head to the northeast along the trail to pass above the beautiful site of Vault Beach. From here, you will round another point and pass by Gorran Haven Beach on the way into the village itself where you can stop into The Haven Fish & Chips for a quick snack to eat by the sea. From here, continue making your way through the village to arrive back at the trailhead where you began.
