Route Description for Little Petherick Circular Walk
If you are looking for an intermediate length adventure in Cornwall that will produce some nice views over the water and the chance to stroll through the open countryside, then the Little Petherick Circular Walk will be a great option to do so.
Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the northwest, passing through a lovely stretch of forest along the west bank of Little Petherick Creek. Here, you will traverse several bridges while taking in some views across the water, before eventually reaching the south end of the town of Padstow.
Arriving at the banks of the River Camel, you will head east along the trail and stick closely to the water’s edge, traversing the Little Petherick Creek Bridge to continue on to Old Cove. Once there, you will follow the trail as it heads to the southeast, cutting across the charming farmland to pass through the village of St Issey. From this point, you will cross over the A389 and continue to the southeast, working your way downhill until you reach the tree line. Heading to the northwest, you will follow along the tree line
