Route Description for Port Quin to Port Isaac Walk
Whether you are looking for a short but challenging walking route, to experience the beautiful scenery of the Cornish Coast, or are simply wanting to visit each of these lovely seaside villages, the Port Quin to Port Isaac Walk has everything that you need for a fun day out on the trails.
Setting out from the car park, you will leave the charming village of Port Quin behind and climb uphill to the east, traversing the picturesque countryside before arriving in Port Isaac. Here, you can take your time to explore the charming streets of the small village that is used as a filming location for the fictional village of Portwenn in the television series Doc Martin.
After exploring the village, you will turn back to the west and follow along the rugged terrain of the coast to enjoy amazing views of the sea. Make sure to exercise caution along this portion of the route, as the terrain here is steep and can be quite dangerous. After making your way along the dramatic landscape of the Cornish Coast, you will arrive back in Port Quin where you began your walk.
