Route Description for Porthcurno and Penberth Circular Walk
If you have been wanting to explore the secluded coves, charming villages, and breathtaking coastal vantage points in Cornwall without having to deal with an overly challenging walking route, then the Porthcurno and Penberth Circular Walk will be a great option.
Setting out from the car park, you will leave the charming village of Porthcurno behind in order to climb up the hillside to the northeast for scenic views overlooking the beach. From here, you will continue making your way inland to arrive at the village of Treen, at which point, the route will turn to the southeast and bring you into Penberth Cove.
Making your way downhill toward the water’s edge, you will enjoy some beautifully scenic views of this secluded cove, before following the coastal trail as it leads you back towards the west. With the vast expanse of the English Channel on your left, you will venture out to a stunning viewpoint overlooking Logan Rock, before continuing on towards the end point of the route in Porthcurno where you began.
