Route Description for St Anthony’s Coastal Path
Featuring breathtaking coastal terrain, a charming lighthouse, and the deep blue expanse of the English Channel, the St Anthony’s Coastal Path is a quick and easy adventure that will provide you with a spot of exercise and allow you to get your fill of amazing seaside views.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southwest above Porthbeor Beach while enjoying the amazing views across the sea. Here, you will follow the path as it skirts the rugged coastal terrain of Zone Point, eventually turning to the west to bring you to St Anthony’s Head.
After reaching this scenic headland, you will enjoy some amazing views that overlook the 19th Century St Anthony’s Lighthouse, as well as Carrick Roads - one of the largest natural harbours in the world. After taking in the coastal sights, you will head inland and make your way to the northeast, following along Military Road as it leads you straight back to the trailhead where you began your day on the trails.
