Route Description for St Breward Walk
If you find yourself in Cornwall and needing some quiet time on the trails, then the St Breward Walk is a great option to get outside and clear your head. In addition to the charming village itself, you will also pass through lovely forests and fields that will allow you to forget about the outside world while reconnecting with nature.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will loop around several small ponds before following along the banks of the River Camel to the northeast. Here, you will pass through dense stretches of forest and open fields, as you climb up the hillside and eventually meet up with a road.
After a brief visit to the nearby war memorial, you will head south along the road in order to pass through the village of St Breward, where you will pass by its charming church and buildings on the way back into the open countryside. Making your way to the southwest, you will traverse fields and another section of the village, as you make your way back downhill on the return to the trailhead.
