While out walking the trail, you will meander through the forest amongst the mature trees, before walking near the shores of a lake with wooden piers that you can use to gaze out across the calm surface.. This is a dog-friendly trail, so make sure to bring along your canine companions for a good bit of exercise!

Route Description for Yearsley Woods Circular Walk
If you are after a relaxing woodland stroll where you can let your dogs run off leash and explore the beautiful landscape of the Howardian Hills AONB, then you will definitely want to check out the Yearsley Woods Circular Walk.
Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the northeast and descend the forested hillside, enjoying your picturesque surroundings as you pass by a smaller pond to arrive at the shores of Lower Fish Pond. Here, you will find some wooden piers that will allow you to walk across the water and gaze out at the beauty of your surroundings.
From here, you will turn to the east and climb uphill through the tree cover, following the trail as it bends southwest to traverse the undulating terrain. Once you have arrived back at the village of Yearsley, simply follow N Moor Lane to the northwest to return to the car park.

The trailhead for the Yearsley Woods Circular Walk can be found at the Yearsley Woods car park, just north of the village of Yeartsley along N Moor Lane.
