Hiking the Caballero Canyon and Reseda Loop Trail is an awesome adventure that showcases the natural beauty of Southern California’s canyon landscapes. While out on the trail, you will follow alongside Caballero Creek and make your way through the canyon, before looping around to make a return on Reseda Boulevard. Make sure to leave your canine companions at home, as dogs are not permitted along this trail.

Route Description for Caballero Canyon and Reseda Loop Trail
If you are looking to explore the rugged beauty of Topanga State Park, then the Caballero Canyon and Reseda Loop Trail is a great option to spend a few hours on.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way south to meet up with the Advenida Oriente Fire Trail, following it as it turns to the southwest alongside Caballero Creek. Take in the beauty of the canyon landscape as the trail bends to the southeast, eventually meeting up with Mulholland Drive.
Continuing along the road to the west, you will eventually turn towards the north and keep right onto Reseda Boulevard. Relish in some final views of the surrounding area, before making your return back into the trailhead where you began your adventure.
Getting to the Caballero Canyon and Reseda Loop Trail Trailhead
The trailhead for this hike can be found along Reseda Boulevard, just south of the Braemar Country Club.
