Make sure to wear proper footwear for this walk as stretches of the trail can be wet/boggy, and there is a small amount of elevation gain.
Setting out from the trailhead near Ivy Bar Brook, follow the path south initially before it turns to the north and begins to climb uphill along the edge of Cratcliff Wood. From this elevated position, you will have spectacular views overlooking the farms and villages of Derbyshire and can even explore the Bronze Age cairns that can be found on site.
