Route Description for Parley’s Lane Switchback Trail
The Parley’s Lane Switchback Trail is a lovely hike in Park City, Utah. This trail is moderately challenging, with a gentle and consistent incline the whole way. Proper hiking footwear is essential, and be sure to bring along lots of water. This trail is dog-friendly, though dogs must be kept on leash for the duration of their hike. The Parley’s Lane Switchback trail is a fantastic spot to go for a morning walk with the pup and catch some incredible views not far from home.
From the trailhead at the end of West Sunrise drive, follow the path on your left to circle around and back before heading along Parley’s Lane. Hike along Parley’s Lane for half a mile, then take a left to begin the climb up the switchbacks. Continue up the switchbacks to a lovely viewpoint before turning back and heading down the way you came.
Please be mindful that this trail follows along the borders of private property; please stick to the designated public use trail and be respectful of area signage.
