Route Description for The Bonneville Shoreline Trail Double Loop
The Bonneville Shoreline Double loop is a lovely trail for hiking and biking in Salt Lake City. There is very little shade along this route so be sure to lather on the sunscreen, wear a good sunhat, and bring lots of water on this hike, especially if you are hiking at the peak of summer. Traction devices such as microspikes can be handy if you are hiking in the winter, as this trail does get icy. All in all, The Bonneville Shoreline Double Loop is a beautiful, dog-friendly circuit that is easily accessible and lots of fun for the whole family.
From Medical East Drive, follow the trail northwest along the campus trails before looping around and following the Bonneville Shoreline Trail: University of Utah Section back to the trailhead.
