Route Description for Little Sugarloaf Summit Hike
The Little Sugarloaf Summit is a fun hike if you want to admire Sedona’s interesting rock formations without getting too sweaty or going too far. This trail is easy enough for beginners and families, and it can be combined with other connecting trails if you want to keep exploring.
From the Thunder Mountain Trailhead, head right on Thunder Mountain Trail. Stay left at the fork and then left again where two other trails connect. This will get you headed up Little Sugarloaf. It’s not far to the top, so put in a couple steeper steps and then admire the views. Look to the north to see Chimney Rock and Capitol Butte.
