Route Description for Pendley Homestead and Clifftop Nature Trail
If you’re exploring Slide Rock State Park, the Pendley Homestead and Clifftop Nature Trail is a great addition to your day. This simple route runs from the ranger station, past the market, and to the swim area. It’s very easy, making it a good pick for families.
Slide Rock State Park has natural waterslides thanks to its slick rocks, and visitors flock here in the summer to slip n’ slide their way down. It’s perfect for a hot day, but remember to bring water shoes!
From the ranger station, head north to the Slide Rock Market. Take a minute to look around if you’d like, then continue north to the swim area. There’s a narrow oop that can be done above the swim area, and then you can use the trail to access the slide rocks themselves. Have fun!
