If you want the classic Cathedral Rock view on a slightly longer trail, the Templeton, HT, and Easy Breezy Loop is a fun pick. This hike is still quite easy, making it a good pick for families and beginners alike.
This route begins from the same parking lot as the traditional Cathedral Rock hike, which means you’ll have to deal with the same level of traffic. We recommend arriving as early as you can as there are only two small lots here with no additional street parking available.
From the parking lot, take Templeton Trail towards Cathedral Rock. Take your time enjoying this iconic sight as you hike right along the rock’s base. At a 4-way junction, stay left onto HT Trail and then left again onto Easy Breezy. You’ll hike a straightaway back to the trailhead from here.
