The Foreman Hollow Nature Trail is a beautiful hike in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This trail is a great place to see wildlife such as moose, it's also part of ranch land, so you are likely to see cattle wandering the trail as well. Dogs are permitted on the Foreman Hollow Nature Trail, but must be kept on leash at all times.
Route Description for Foreman Hollow Nature Trail
The Foreman Hollow Nature Trail is a lovely hike for the whole family. Access to this trail does require a $10 parking fee. When hiking the Foreman Hollow Nature Trail, keep an eye out for cattle that roam the area. Besides just cattle, this trail is a great place to see forest wildlife such as deer, moose, and songbirds. If you do see wild animals, do not feed them and be sure to give them lots of personal space. Whether you are staying for a night at the Lodgepole Campground or just visiting for the day, the Foreman Hollow Nature Trail is a beautiful place to explore the Utah wilderness with friends and family. Beginning at the campground, follow the trail west to hike the loop clockwise. Approximately 0.6 miles in the trail will fork, continue straight ahead to stay on the Foreman Hollow Nature Trail and follow the loop all the way back to the campground where you began. Once back at the campground, you can either head home or set up the tent for a restful night under the Utah stars.Getting to the Foreman Hollow Nature Trail Trailhead
