Route Description for Easton Ridge Trail
Easton Ridge is a pleasant hike that doesn’t ever get very busy, so try it next time you want to appreciate the wildflowers or fall foliage without competing for space. The first part of the hike is a bit of a grind, but you can take breaks with views of Kachess Lake to distract yourself from the leg burn.
Begin from the trailhead and cross the creek, immediately beginning a set of switchbacks that feels a bit never-ending. After about 2.9 km, the trail straightens out and eases up a bit, traversing across the ridge. Enjoy the views and the flatter footing. The GPS track ends at the high point of the ridge where you can either turn back or go a bit further to where the trail peters out on the downslope of the ridge.
