Itinerary for Hiking the Grand Canyon and Zion
Arrive at the Grand Canyon
You’ll meet your group at the hotel in Flagstaff and then drive to the magnificent and world-famous Grand Canyon. You’ll begin your exploration at the South Rim and hike towards the quieter Western Rim Trail.
Hike Inside the Canyon
Today, your hike will take you into the canyon as you follow the Bright Angel Trail. You’ll hike to the Indian Gardens before hiking out of the Canyon.
Visit the North Rim
As you drive to the North Rim of the Canyon, there will be time to stop at a slot canyon and a viewpoint to look for condors. You’ll hike the Desert View and Cathedral Canyon trails.
North Rim Hikes
It’s unlikely that you’ll be sharing the trail with a lot of people today, as the Ken Patrick Trail is one of the more tranquil areas of the canyon.
Arrive at Zion National Park
This morning, you’ll leave the enormous Grand Canyon for the dramatic slot canyons and geological formations of Zion. You’ll hike the Orderville Canyon and wade through the Narrows of the Virgin River.
Angels’ Landing Hike
On the final day of your tour, you’ll take on the exhilarating hike up the notorious Angel’s Landing. After your hike, the shuttle will transfer the group to Las Vegas, where your tour finishes.
