Route Description for Chantry Flats to Hoegee’s Camp Hike
If you are after a decent day-hike in the Chantry Flats area that features some nice views and a moderate difficulty, then the Chantry Flats to Hoegee’s Camp Hike is a great excursion to set out on.
Setting out from the parking lot, you will follow the Chantry Flats Truck Trail to the west, keeping right at the fork onto the Upper Winter Creek Trail. Here, you will follow the path as it turns to the northwest and traverses the undulating terrain of the mountains.
After hiking the wooded slopes and admiring the landscape, you will arrive at Hoegee’s Camp, marking the turnaround point of your adventure. After resting up, simply head back along the trail to return to Chantry Flats.
