The Crystal Lake Trail is a lovely little hiking route in Angeles National Forest that loops around a charming body of water. While out on the trail, you will work your way through a beautiful woodland setting, while taking in the views of the surrounding mountain peaks across the small lake. Make sure to purchase and display your adventure pass prior to setting out on your hike.
Route Description for Crystal Lake Trail
For such a short route, the Crystal Lake Trail sure does pack in a lot of natural beauty. This quick and easy SoCal hike features views of the surrounding mountains and woodlands of the Angeles National Forest, making for a fun afternoon, no matter your age or skill level. Setting out from the parking area, you will head west through the tree cover to quickly arrive at the shores of Crystal Lake. Here, you will work your way along the waterline in a counterclockwise direction, enjoying the beautifully scenic views of nearby peaks and trees, before arriving back at the trailhead where you began your adventure.Getting to the Crystal Lake Trail Trailhead
