Crystal Lake Trail

While out on the trail, you will work your way through a beautiful woodland setting, while taking in the views of the surrounding mountain peaks across the small lake. Route Description for Crystal Lake Trail
For such a short route, the Crystal Lake Trail sure does pack in a lot of natural beauty. This quick and easy SoCal hike features views of the surrounding mountains and woodlands of the Angeles National Forest, making for a fun afternoon, no matter your age or skill level.
Setting out from the parking area, you will head west through the tree cover to quickly arrive at the shores of Crystal Lake. Here, you will work your way along the waterline in a counterclockwise direction, enjoying the beautifully scenic views of nearby peaks and trees, before arriving back at the trailhead where you began your adventure.
Getting to the Crystal Lake Trail Trailhead
The starting point for the Crystal Lake Trail can be found 1mi southwest of the Crystal Lake Visitor Center along N Crystal Lake Road.
