Route Description for Mount Lukens via Dunsmore Canyon Hike
Setting out on the Mount Lukens via Dunmore Canyon Hike is a challenging adventure in Angeles National Forest that features a large elevation gain and wonderfully scenic views of the surrounding SoCal landscape.
This tough hike will see you work your way uphill through the mountains to the north, before tracking east along the undulating terrain to reach the summit of Mount Lukens. From there, you will enjoy some spectacular views as you descend to the Silver Saddle, before turning to the southwest for the final descent through Dunsmore Canyon.
This is an excellent route if you are looking to push yourself and spend a bit more time in the mountains, just be sure to display your adventure pass prior to setting out.
