Setting out from the trailhead next to the Vincent Gap parking lot, you will follow the path as it leads to the southwest through the tree cover. Here, the route will begin to steepen, as you traverse a lengthy series of switchbacks up the mountainside.
Eventually, you will arrive at the summit of Mount Baden-Powell, which was named after the founder of the World Scouting Movement, Robert Baden-Powell, and offers beautifully scenic views. From here, you will continue to the southwest along a ridgeline that will see you traverse the summits of Mount Burnham and Throop Peak, before returning via the same route.
