    The Vincent Gap to Mount Baden-Powell Hike is a challenging, yet beautiful scenic excursion in Angeles National Forest that traverses three rugged summits. While out on the trail, you will make your way up a switchbacking path, before visiting the summits of Mount Baden-Powell, Mount Burnham, and Thropp Peak for stunning views of the Southern California landscape. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking boots and bring plenty of water for this leg burning adventure.

    Whether you are a casual hiker looking to push yourself to the limit, or are a seasoned hiker with countless peaks under your belt, the Vincent Gap to Mount Baden-Powell Hike is an exceptional adventure that is definitely worth exploring. Make sure to have your adventure pass visible in your vehicle before beginning your hike.

    Setting out from the trailhead next to the Vincent Gap parking lot, you will follow the path as it leads to the southwest through the tree cover. Here, the route will begin to steepen, as you traverse a lengthy series of switchbacks up the mountainside.

    Eventually, you will arrive at the summit of Mount Baden-Powell, which was named after the founder of the World Scouting Movement, Robert Baden-Powell, and offers beautifully scenic views. From here, you will continue to the southwest along a ridgeline that will see you traverse the summits of Mount Burnham and Throop Peak, before returning via the same route.
