The Beacon Hill Circular is a short, 3.1 km walk that gets you in the countryside, takes you to lovely vistas, and doesn’t require much physical excursion. This kid-friendly walk is excellent for all skill levels.

Route Description for Beacon Hill Circular Walk
The Beacon Hill Circular walk takes you on a short, charming journey through the Chilterns. The easy-going path makes this a family-friendly hike that’s tailor-made for all ages! Expect the lovely countryside and striking wildflowers to decorate the setting.
Do note that this area is exposed, meaning it can get quite windy, so come prepared with extra layers if it’s a colder day, and wear a hat or bring sunscreen on a hotter day!
The hike begins in a clockwise direction and will take you to Ivinghoe Beacon (Beacon Hill) before winding right and continuing straight. After about 300 m, take a right, and stay right as you loop back to the starting point.

Getting to the Beacon Hill Circular Walk Trailhead
To get to the start of the Beacon Hill Circular, head to Ivinghoe and follow Beacon Road to Steps Hill Car Park.
