    Wendover Woods and Buckland Circular Walk

    The Wendover Woods and Buckland Circular Walk takes you on a lovely 18.5 km loop through England’s countryside, along canals, and through the woods. Admire the wildflowers blanketing the landscape! When you reach the halfway point, stop at the Full Moon pub in Cholesbury for lunch at the top of the circuit. This walk may be long, but the ever-changing scenery will keep you entertained and relaxed.

    Route Description for Wendover Woods and Buckland Circular Walk

    The Wendover Woods and Buckland Circular Walk immerses you in the Chilterns, where wildflowers paint the countryside, woods add a layer of seclusion, and the canal adds diversity. While some sections will get your heart rate up, the path is relatively flat, making this 18.5 km activity a lovely way to spend an afternoon or a morning. To top it off, you can rest your feet and replenish your appetite in Cholesbury before taking on the final leg of the loop.

    The network of trails forming a spider web in this area makes it easy to take on another path instead of the one outlined on the Wendover woods map.
