Recently restored, the paved path guides explorers along the running waters of Fountain Creek bounded by orange-colored cliffs before culminating at the Rainbow Falls. Getting its name from the then graffiti-decorated walls, the cliffs have been cleaned and restored in recent years. Now, the cascades provide a stunning natural scene, but the bridge remains painted, keeping some of the vibrant personality and history alive. So, if you have water shoes, wade into the pool and take a picture next to the impressive falls that flow beneath the interstate.

Heading to the falls during the allotted time slots, the Rainbow Falls departs from the parking lot and trailhead off Serpentine Drive. From here, track north along the Rainbow Falls Trail. As you walk, you will be in the company of other like-minded explorers excited to enjoy the sights of the cascading falls. Hiking on the paved orange-hued path, you will be lulled into a state of relaxation by the meditative sounds of the running waters. Soon you will reach Rainbow Falls, which pour beneath the historic Rainbow Bridge.
