If you fancy a relaxing woodland walk that features beautiful scenery, a winding river, and a fascinating dual-purpose viaduct/aqueduct, then you will certainly want to get out and explore the Luxulyan and Ponts Mill Circular Walk.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the northwest along the banks of the River Par, taking in the peaceful riverside atmosphere as you work your way along the forested landscape of the Luxulyan Valley.

After passing under the wonderful architecture of the Treffry Viaduct/Aqueduct, you will loop around and make your way slightly uphill, heading back to the southeast along the edge of the Fowey Consols Leat. Following along the water, you will once again pass through the forest on the return to the trailhead in Ponts Mill.
