Whether you are hoping to spend some time on one of several secluded beaches along this route or are looking to explore the various historical and cultural sites along the way, the Porthcurno to Porthgwarra Beach Walk is an excellent excursion to explore the scenic Cornish Coast.
Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the southeast and head down towards Porthcurno Beach. Here, you will enjoy some lovely views of the sea and pass by several fortifications from World War II, before continuing climbing uphill to reach the Minack Theatre. This fascinating cliffside structure has been carved into the rock and hosts a number of theatrical productions.
After exploring the area around the theatre, you will head to the southwest in order to continue along the rugged terrain of the coast. Eventually, you will pass by Porth Chapel Beach, continuing on until you arrive at Porthgwarra Beach. Here, you can relax in the secluded cove and spend the day at the beach, or pop into the Porthgwarra Cove Cafe for some mid-walk refreshments. Once you have exhausted your time here, simply head back along the same route to return to the car park.
