Route Description for West Devon and Peter Tavy Circular Walk
The West Devon and Peter Tavy Circular Walk is a relatively short walking route near Tavistock that is popular with a variety of walkers, as it allows you to experience the beautiful Devon countryside along a trail that isn’t very difficult. Setting out from the village of Peter Tavy, you will head to the northwest and traverse the open countryside, eventually crossing over the River Tavy near the Mary Tavy Power Station. From here, you will turn to the south and continue across the fields adjacent to the winding banks of the river. Reaching the Harford Bridge Holiday Park, cross over the bridge and make your way to the northeast, leaving the river behind on the return back to the trailhead.

To reach the trailhead for the West Devon and Peter Tavy Circular Walk from the Harford Bridge Holiday Park, drive east on Langsford Road for 0.2mi and turn left to continue on for another 0.6mi. Make a slight left here and continue on for 0.1mi to arrive at the car park.Route Information
