Route Description for Little Hebe Trail
While the Little Hebe Trail is an incredible route with much to offer, it is not near any of the major highways within Death Valley National Park, and therefore requires a fair amount of driving to get to. It is also important to remember that Death Valley National Park is within a desert environment, and so you should prepare yourself for the arid conditions. We recommend bringing lots of water, and protecting yourself from the effects of the sun with sunscreen.
Having arrived at the trailhead, follow the pathway to the south as it makes its way alongside the Ubehebe Crater. Continuing on this pathway, the Little Hebe Trail will head to the east slightly before arriving at a junction in the trail. At the junction, take the southern path. Almost immediately the Little Hebe Crater will be visible. After taking your time to enjoy the magnificent scenery, backtrack your steps towards the trailhead.
