    The Kiddens Trail and Haldon Forest park Circular Walk is a moderate length adventure just outside of Exeter that will produce some nice views of the city and surrounding area. While out on this multi-use trail, you will make your way through a maze of pathways set within a scenic stretch of forest. Be sure to keep an eye on children and dogs, as trail runners and mountain bikers will also be using the trail.

    Route Description for Kiddens Trail and Haldon Forest Park Circular Walk

    A multi-use trail that is also popular with trailrunners and mountain bike enthusiasts, the Kiddens Trail and Haldon Forest Park Circular Walk is popular with a variety of walkers thanks to its beautiful forest setting and lovely views of the surrounding Devon countryside. Setting out from the car park, make your way south to enter into the forest, paying close attention to trail signs and your GPS to ensure that you stay on the correct route. The trail will initially see you descend the hillside and turn to the north, eventually looping around the northern part of the forest on the return past the Go Ape treetop challenge to the car park where you began.

    To reach the trailhead for the Kiddens Trail and Haldon Forest Park Circular Walk from the village of Shillingford St George, drive southwest on St George’s Terrace for 1.3 km and turn left to continue on for 2.7 km. Make a sharp right and keep on for 0.3 km, turning left to enter the car park.
