Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the northeast to pass through the campground and descend the hillside on the way to the coast. Once there, you will turn to the west and walk along the rugged cliffs that make up the shoreline to eventually arrive at the Bull Point Lighthouse. As you walk through the coastal grassland landscape, you will likely spot several local bird species, as well as a number of seals that usually inhabit the rocks below along the water’s edge. Once you arrive at Morte Point, you will enjoy some more beautiful views of the Bristol Channel, including a great sightline out to Lundy Island. From here, follow the trail to the southeast along the rugged shoreline before climbing uphill through the village of Mortehoe on the return leg back to the car park.
