Walking the Roadford Lake Park Circular Trail is a lovely experience in Devon that will expose you to some beautiful views across the water. While out on the trail, you will stroll along the quiet shores of Roadford Lake and take in its natural beauty before completing the return portion of the walk through a forest. There is even an off-lead dog area for your canine companions to get a bit of exercise!

Route Description for Roadford Lake Park Circular Walk
The Roadford Lake Park Circular Walk is a popular route for campers in the area, but also for walkers that are after a leisurely stroll with charming lakeside views. Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the northeast and pass by the Lakeside Cafe before entering into the cover of the forest. Keep left along the edge of the lake for some beautifully scenic views across the water. Eventually, the trail will turn to the east and loop through the wonderfully atmospheric woodland landscape, bringing you back to the car park where you began your adventure.
Getting to the Roadford Lake Park Circular Walk Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Roadford Lake Park Circular Walk from Lifton, head east on Fore Street for 0.2 km and continue onto New Road for 0.6 km. Keep straight on Station Road for another 1.9 km and turn left. Follow the Road for 6.1 km and turn right to enter the car park.
