Route Description for Judd Falls Trail
For those times when you aren’t looking to get out into the mountains for a challenging adventure, the Judd falls Trail is a great hike near Gothic that will allow you to simply get some fresh air, stretch your legs, and take in some wonderful scenery.
Setting out from the roadside parking area, you will follow the trail northeast past the toilet facilities, before it loops around to the southeast in the direction of the falls. Here, you will make your way through a stretch of woodland terrain, gaining a small amount of elevation before arriving at the viewpoint. Take some time here to appreciate the beauty of the cascading water of Judd Falls, before backtracking along the same trail to return to your vehicle.
