Route Description for Creedmore Lakes Trail
The wonderful adventure along the Creedmore Lakes Trail is perfect for those looking to get in their daily movement. This easy hike travels along the lakes’ shores and delivers awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountainous landscape. Hike the wooded path and revel in the grandeur of the granite outcroppings. Note there are several dispersed camping areas around the lake, consider pitching a tent and wake up to the sun rising over the crystalline lakes.
Begin your adventure from your campsite, or the end of the FDR180C. Take the dirt path up to the first lake. Enjoy the vista of the three lakes, hemmed with towering trees and large granite boulders. This section of the trail ends at the first lake, but you can explore further! The terrain is easy to navigate, just be mindful of the odd root. Hike along the lakes and explore their shores. If you brought your fishing pole and permit, try your hand at some trout!
Immerse yourself in nature and explore the shores of the Creedmore Lakes before packing up and heading out.
