Route Description for Cold Creek Trail to High Meadows
We love the Cold Creek Trail to High Meadows Hike, and we know you will too. Wander through lush meadowlands, mixed woodlands, and alongside the gurgling waters of Cold Creek along this route. Impress yourself in the high country and get your heart rate up! Note that this area has been especially buggy in the summer months, so be sure to bring along some bug spray! Additionally, we suggest dressing in layers and bringing sun protection as the trail weaves between exposed meadowlands and shaded terrain—warranting ever-changing conditions.
Setting out from the trailhead, the Cold Creek Trail to High Meadow Hike follows the Lower Cold Creek Trail along the babbling waters of the alpine stream. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of babbling waters and the sounds of the encompassing mountains. Continued hiking, and you will soon reach an intersection.
