Route Description for Reflection Lake Trail

In the springtime especially, the mosquitoes along the Reflection Lake Trail can become rather numerous and bothersome. We therefore recommend bringing bug repellent with you and wearing both long sleeves and pants.

A less crowded option than the nearby Manzanita Lake Trail, the Reflection Lake trail is an excellent choice for those seeking a laid-back route to take their time on. Being both short and flat, the route is appropriate for practically anyone who is interested in doing it and is likewise extremely accessible as it is located right off a main highway within Lassen Volcanic National Park. Lastly, the views found along the Reflection Lake Trail of the surrounding alpine landscape are sublime and can not be overstated.

Navigating the Reflection Lake Trail is incredibly straightforward. Made from local volcanic rock, the museum is operated by the National Park Service and possesses a number of intriguing artifacts such as pictures of Lassen Peaks most recent eruption in 1914-1915.
