Getty View Trail

The Getty View Trail is a wonderfully scenic hiking route near Los Angeles that features some lovely views of the surrounding Southern California landscape. While out on the trail, you will gain a small amount of elevation as you work your way into the hills for sweeping views of the undulating terrain. This hiking route features little protection from the sun, so make sure that you bring plenty of water and take the weather into consideration when hiking with dogs and children.

Route Description for Getty View Trail
Featuring a short overall distance and beautiful scenery, the Getty View Trail is an ideal hiking route for those times when you want to set out on an adventure but don’t want to undertake one that is too strenuous.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will work your way to the north, gaining a small amount of elevation as you traverse the ridge. Take your time here to appreciate the natural beauty of the SoCal landscape, before arriving at the end point of the trail. Here, you will turn back and retrace your steps on the way to the trailhead where you began.

The starting point for the Getty View Trail can be found at the end of Casiano Road.
