Route Description for Hollywood Sign and the Wisdom Tree Hike

There are several hiking routes that will take you up to the iconic Hollywood Sign, but if you find yourself looking for a bit of a longer route that features some stretches of rocky terrain, then look no further than the Hollywood Sign and Wisdom Tree Hike.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will initially follow the trail northwest, before it merges with the Toyon Trail and turns south. Eventually, you will pass by the Toyon Canyon Landfill and meet up with the North Trail, following it west.

After skirting around the summit of Mount Chapel, you will soon arrive at the summit of Mount Lee, where you can look out from atop the world-famous Hollywood Sign. From here, the trail continues west across Cahuenga Peak to Burbank Peak, where you can visit the Wisdom Tree. After taking in the scenic views, simply backtrack along the trail to return to your starting point.
