Walking the O’Melveny Nature Loop is a lovely experience in the Los Angeles area that will lead you through a beautifully scenic park. While out on the trail, you will loop around O’Melveny Park, taking in the views of the undulating landscape, serene forest, and Bee Canyon Creek. This is an excellent family-friendly adventure that can be enjoyed by hikers of all ages and skill levels.
Route Description for O’Melveny Nature Loop
Featuring scenic views and a relaxing setting, the O’Melveny Nature Loop is a fun little adventure no matter your skill level or intentions; simply tie up your shoes and hit the trails for a few hours of laid back fun.
Setting out from the parking lot, you will head to the northwest alongside Bee Canyon Creek, before picking up a footpath on the left that skirts around the edge of an open greenspace.
After looping back around to the southeast, the trail will once again meet up with the banks of Bee Canyon Creek. Here, you will follow the edge of the creek until you arrive back at the parking lot where you began your walk.

The trailhead for this hike can be found at the O’Melveny Park parking lot on Sesnon Blvd.
