    The Wisdom Tree, Cahuenga Peak, and Mount Lee Summit Loop is the ideal trail for those who want to take in some iconic L.A. landmarks while also getting a solid workout. While out hiking the trail, you will climb steeply uphill past the Wisdom Tree and Cahuenga Peak to reach the top of Mount Lee for views overlooking the famous Hollywood Sign. Make sure to arrive early, as this route is very popular and can be congested during peak hours.

    Route Description for Wisdom Tree, Cahuenga Peak, and Mount Lee Summit Loop

    A great combination of sightseeing and difficult terrain awaits on the Wisdom Tree, Cahuenga Peak, and Mount Lee Summit Loop. Make sure that you bring plenty of water if you are planning to hike this trail, as the near-constant uphill climb will be sure to give you a run for your money!

    Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow Wonder View Drive to the northeast for a short distance, before arriving at a point where the road splits into two footpaths. Taking the path on the right, you will begin climbing uphill across the undulating terrain to arrive at the Wisdom Tree, a solitary pine tree that survived a wildfire in 2009.

    Continuing on to the east, you will traverse the summit of Cahuenga Peak, before arriving at the top of Mount Lee. Here, you will have a sweeping view of Los Angeles from atop the iconic Hollywood Sign. After taking in the views, you will backtrack to the west and keep right at the fork after Cahuenga Peak, looping around the hills before making a southward return into the trailhead where you began your adventure.
