Route Description for Sunrise Lake Trail
Sunrise Lake Trail is a short, easy hike suitable for all ages. It features a lake, wildflowers, and plenty of greenery. We recommend bringing bug spray for this trail.
The Sunrise Lake Trail heads out on Palisades Lake Trail off the curve of the road. Follow this trail, winding around a tight left turn, to Sunrise Lake. Loop around the entire lakeshore, then retrace your steps to your car. Since this hike is a quick one, we recommend relaxing for a while at the lake.
Getting to the Sunrise Lake Trail Trailhead
The trailhead for the Sunrise Lakes Trail is off a hairpin turn on Sunrise Park Road. Driving towards its terminus in the park, watch for the parking area off the 4th hairpin turn.
