Route Description for Broken Bridge Trail
The Broken Bridge Trail sets out from the Meadows in the Sky Parkway and quickly travels into the dense woodlands that can be found along the slopes of Mount Revelstoke. Along this 2.1 km trail, you will experience the natural beauty and quiet tranquility of the forest setting as you work your way along the path towards a scenic waterfall. Here, hikers will be able to gaze upon the old wooden bridge over the falls that stands twisted and broken from years of disuse. After reaching the end of the trail, you can backtrack along the same route to experience the forest from a different perspective, as you make your way back to the trailhead.
Getting to the Broken Bridge Trail Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Broken Bridge Trail from the Trans Canada Highway in Revelstoke, take the exit for Mt. Revelstoke N.P. and continue on the Meadows in the Sky Parkway for 11.1 km. Here, you will find the trailhead into the forest on the outside edge of the road.
