Route Description for Penerley Wood and Moon Hill Circular Walk
New Forest’s Penerley Wood and Moon Hill Circular Walk boasts enough scenery to keep you captivated but not enough to leave you stunned. Expect to traverse oak woods, pine, and heathland over a 10.9km stretch! Don’t forget to bring the appropriate footwear during wetter months.
Setting out from your car, head left to go south before taking a right at the first T-intersection. Follow the path snaking along the border of the forest, continuing straight towards Honey Hill. You’ll have to cross over Hatchet Lane to reach the circular section of this lollipop route. At the next intersection, continue straight to make your way around the loop, eventually reaching this same intersection and following the same path back to your car.
